●Nepalese Village Homestay and a Relaxed Hiking Opportunity

Syl Bali Village is the first small village to start offering homestays to tourists. It is close to Pokhara and 1700m (5577ft) in altitude and has a completely different atmosphere compared to the city. You can enjoy seeing up close the traditional Gurung architecture and experience their culture when you join them for meals and see their daily life. You can visit their school and temples. We recommend this plan as you can experience what life is like in these small Nepalese villages. Very close by are short hiking courses that might take you to the foothills of Damalagiri, Manaslu and the Ampoule Mountains in the pleasant climate. Even though it is a small village, there are many people who have come to be welcomed by the warm hospitality of the Nepalese as they share their culture with people from around the world.
  • The Syl Bali Village Entrance Gate

  • A road near the Syl Bali Village which also offers some hiking routes

  • The prayer flags as they are strung from the village temple to the surrounding area.
