Full Day Tour of the Amazing Himalayas and Fulfilling Pokohara Sightseeing tour

From the mountainous landscapes to the beautiful Lake Fewa by boat, to the historic and culturally significant place, enjoy all that Pokhara has to offer. You will get a good view of the Annapurna Mountain range (with peaks over 8,000m/26,250 ft) as well as go down into the caves where a striking Hindu temple hides and many places to enjoy with your knowledgeable local English-speaking guide.

1 Pokhara

Our guide and private car will pick you up at a pre-designated location in Pokhara and head to Lake Fewa. Enjoy the wooden boat ride where you can see the mountains reflected in the water for about an hour. Visit the Binduvasini Temple, Davi's Falls, and the International Mountain Museum. After that, visit the Gupteshwar Mahadev Cave where you can enjoy seeing the shining rocks and the Hindu temple. From there visit a Tibetan refugee camp to learn about Tibetan culture, including Buddhist temples and schools, and the lives of people living there. (Anytime during the day, according to your preferences, the guide can offer suggestions but the cost of lunch is not included in the package tour.)
After that in the evening hours head to Sarangkot Hill to watch the sunset and enjoy the amazing view. The spectacular view of Lake Fewa below and the mountains nearby will be captivating. Some of the nearby peaks you can see from there include: Annapurna South (7219m / 23684 ft), Annapurna 1 Peak (8091m / 26545ft), Machapuchare (6993m / 22,942ft), Annapurna III (7555m / 24,787ft), Annapurna IV (7525m / 24,688ft), Dhaulagiri I (8167m / 26,795ft), Annapurna II Peak (7937m / 26,040ft), and more. The tour ends when you are ready, and the Guide and driver will drop you off at your lodging in Pokhara.

If you simply want to enjoy the best sites in Pokhara with a local guide to help you move efficiently around the area, we recommend this tour. In the early morning light you can be enthralled by the spectacular mountainous horizon seen from Sarangkot Hill. Then, visit the ancient Bindu Basini Hindu Temple and see the colorful offerings and interior. From there you can visit the mysterious Davi's Falls where the water has created and amazing underground waterfall and formed the Gupteshwar Mahadev Cave. You can also look in on Tibetan refugee schools and temples during the refugee camp visit to learn more about their culture or buy their handicrafts.
